Hi Collette,

Just writing you to thank you for raising the absolute perfect kitten for us. (not to forget, the prettiest kitten ever, too).

She has been wonderful from day one - absolutely no adjustment problems - she acted like this was her home from the start - she even won the dog over in just a couple of days. Now, they  take naps together on the couch - the dog on the seat - cat on the seatback right above him.

She is growing a lot -  is very playful and active and has become super fast and can tackle jumps and climbs to almost anywhere she wants to go. She definitely likes company - is very social and is a virtual purring machine.

The best part is of course that even though she is not totally allergy proof - I really have no problem - not even when she sleeps in my bed by my head. (something she really loves). The allergic reactions I do get sometimes, are  very very mild ,few and far between, and usually go away by themselves in just a minute or two. So nice not to have to use any medication.                     K. S. & H. in Florida

Dear Collette,

I just looked at your April kittens – they are beautiful. Does Winnie have blue eyes?  Beautiful kitten.

Henzel is doing just great – I couldn’t be happier. He is toilet trained – no more kitty litter. We went on a short trip to Destin and we

Drove and took Henzel with us – what a pleasure  he was.  When we arrived at our destination – he had no potty problems there

Either.  We got a female Goldendoodle  puppy  Jackie is her name – Henzel and the puppy are certainly enjoying each other.    B. C. in Florida

Hi Collette

Just want to let everyone know how well Hollie adapted!

We kept her in the carrier several hours, and then we let her out.  She sat on Kandi’s lap the entire trip!

She was much happier out of the carrier.  When we got home, Kandi and I put together her brass bed and her 7 ft tall cat tree/play house….she loves both.  We have a two story house and she explores everywhere.  She loves to lay by the basement door like a “watch cat” J.  She loves laps even more!

The grandchildren all love her and she loves the extra attention that comes with their visits.  She actually seems to prefer children…I wonder why? J

She sleeps a lot and watches TV some.  She demands companionship and sleeps with my mom if Kandi and I are gone.

She is truly a wonderful cat. D. B. in Florida

hi colette, the kitten is doing great. we named him jimmy buffet, but we call him jimmy. i can't believe what a great personality he has.  he's so sweet and laid back.  and no allergy problems at all. we're very happy with him. i'll send pictures soon. thanks, cc , in FL

Hi Collette, Kokomo is doing great!! He is so well adjusted and his personality is so sweet. You have been such a good mom to him; and we can really tell the difference between him and Rio who is a little more shy and standoffish. Rio was raised with a mom who works and no more children at home. ( Rio is the MaineCoon kitten we bought ) Don't get me wrong he is so adorable & sweet and we are working with him; and he has changed so much since he has been here with us, but oh Collette, Kokomo is wonderful !!! Rio & Kokomo have the same B-day and they love, love, love each other so much, they play together and sleep together and I feel so lucky to have them both. Our 2 big cats Shadow & BellaBo have taken to them nicely.Thank You so much for my sweet kitty, I love him so much and will stay in touch and will send pictures soon.        ~~C.Z.~~ in Virginia

Hey Collette,

I was just thinking of you the other day…thinking we should send you a picture update of that CRAZY cat we bought from you! Lol  He sure is spunky…but he is really sweet and loving too.

I am still allergic, but I have adjusted and we are fine.  If he gets in and lays on my pillow on the bed (which the little stinker manages to do on a regular basis), I get asthma when I go to bed.  But if I change the pillowcase I go back to being fine.  I can hold him and pet him, I just need to be sure to wash my hands afterwards.  So his fur or dander or whatever on my shirt doesn’t bother me….it would just be if I touch my face.

Cocoa, however, is the sweetest cat I have ever owned…and he is worth every bit of it.  The boys just LOVE him, and my husband will even pick him up and pet him (he still says he doesn’t like animals…while Cocoa and the dog ‘Buddy’ are literally sleeping on top of him as he watches tv.  HA!) I'm sure I'll have more for you tomorrow, but I've spent an hour or two with her and what a beautiful little kitty she is!!!!  I'm trying to tire her out before bed and she loves to play. She hasn't stop purring since she got here. She's 'helping' me type right now :) She loves the rabbits' foot you sent and the alpine scratcher is already is use....Six weeks later he wrote...

Cookie is really quite a daredevil. She loves to investigate my daughter's baths. The other day she was sitting on the edge of the tub (like usual) and actually slipped in. She got a little scared, but within 5 minutes, she was back on the edge of the tub like nothing happened. We finally got our cat tree (ordered before Christmas), so she is really enjoying that. Did I tell you that she fetches too? That rabbit's foot that you sent with her is still her favorite toy and she will fetch it time and time again. So smart... D.J. in California
